IDEA #1 The absolute best way to begin marketing this program to others is to become totally sold on it yourself. You do this by committing yourself wholeheartedly to “The Way”. Meditate on God’s Word day and night, pray continually and meet regularly with other students in your area who are taking the course. By committing yourself unreservedly to this program, you will see wonderful results in your life, which will give you the enthusiasm, strength, and determination to be a success with us. There are no shortcuts or easy ways here.

IDEA #2 You should not begin to market this program to others until you can honestly tell others about the personal benefits you have received from it. Once you can honestly recommend the program from your heart, begin by making a list of everyone you know who has a hunger for God or an interest in spiritual things. I suggest you put all the names you come up with on 3 X 5 cards. Have your spouse help you with this exercise, if possible. Begin with people you may go to church with. Think of people who used to go to your church. Think of people who used to go to churches you went to in the past. Think of pastors you have met in your area. Think of people who have talked to you about God or who have invited you to go to their church. Think of people in your neighborhood, past and present. Think of friends of your children or their parents.

After you have completed your list, prioritize it by putting them in order of who you think might be the most interested in coming to know God better. Then find their phone numbers and write them on the 3 X 5 cards. For the next six days, call as many people, starting at the top of the list until you get one of those people on the phone. Have your PPLG be on the phone using 3-way calling. Keep your call brief and to the point. Respect your PPLG’s time by not using these phone calls to catch up on what’s been happening. Your conversation might go as following:

Hello Joe, this is Bob Jones calling and I have a friend of mine Larry Droz on the line with me. (Larry says hi to Joe.) I asked Larry to get on the line with me in case you had any questions I couldn’t answer. How are you doing by the way?

The reason I’m calling is to share an amazing income opportunity that is helping people to not only grow spiritually but financially as well. I think of you as a person who is interested in growing in both of these areas, am I right?

(If he seems open, continue with…)

The name of the organization is “The Way to My Promised Land”. IDEA #3 Begin sending out e-mails to pastors in your area. Go to www.superpages.com and under “keyword”, type in the word “churches.” Then under the words “city and state”, type your city and state name. To the right, I believe, you’ll see some choices of ways to search. Click on “search by distance.” Click on 100 mile radius. When the types of churches come up, begin your search with “non-denominational churches.” (I believe these are the most likely to work with you.) On the bottom of the first row, you should find an option to alphabetize the list. I recommend doing this. This way it will be easy to find out where you left off when you continue in the future.

Begin looking for each church with a website. Once inside the website, look for “contact us.” This is where they will usually have a link to send the pastor or church an e-mail. Have a standard e-mail all set to go so you can simply send the e-mail and go on to the next church website. Say a prayer over each e-mail before you send it, asking the LORD to use our program to bless the pastor and his congregation. Your e-mail might say something like this:

Dear Pastor,

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bob Jones and I’ve recently become enrolled in an online Bible Study. The devotionals are great and they have been a great blessing in my life. I think this online Bible course will help make any Christian stronger. I think if you were to offer it to members of your congregation, they would draw even closer to the LORD. They will become more generous in their giving and will start bringing more people to church with them. The Bible course is FREE to all your members. It is supported entirely through free will offerings. Only those whose lives improve because of the lessons are encouraged to give. We will give a percentage of all offerings back to you. Your members will also have this same incentive to enroll to enroll their friends, and in this way, your church could experience explosive growth.

IDEA #4 The typical response from an e-mail campaign can be less than 1%. However, when an e-mail campaign is followed up by a phone call, it can increase the positive response by ten fold. So go back to all those websites where you e-mailed and look for the church’s telephone number as well as the pastor’s name. You should have three scripts ready to follow. One if you get to talk with the pastor; one if you have to leave a message with the church secretary and one if you get the churches’ voice mail. If you don’t feel confident to do this on your own, you should ask your PPLG to do 3-way calls with you. Let me give you a sample of all three:

PASTOR… Hello Pastor (insert his name if you know it)? This is Bob Jones giving you a call and I have my spiritual coach Larry Droz on the line with me. (Larry says hi to the pastor.) About a week or so ago, I sent you an e-mail about “THE WAY TO MY PROMISED LAND”. I’m wondering if you remember receiving that? (If he says he remembers it, ask him what he thought about it. Then let your PPLG take it from there.)

If he says he doesn’t remember it, tell him you’d like to take about one or two minutes to read it to him and then do so. When you are done, ask him what he thinks about your letter. Let your PPLG take over from here.

CHURCH SECRETARY OR CHURCH VOICE MAIL.…Hi my name is Bob Jones and I’m calling to follow up on an e-mail I sent the pastor about an organization entitled “THE WAY TO MY PROMISED LAND” that I think his members would really love. My phone # is (give your phone # here) and my website address is (give your web address here.)

HELPFUL EXERCISE, If you have been working with all your heart to fulfill all of God’s dreams and desires, then, and only then, can you fully expect that He will fulfill all your dreams and desires.

In addition to finishing up calling the churches you’ve sent e-mails to, begin to write out all your dreams and desires for every area of your life. When you are done, put them in a place you will read them often, even everyday. On the top of your page you might want to write something like:

Dear Heavenly Father, I am totally committed to fulfilling all the dreams and desires of Your heart. I believe as I fulfill Your dreams and desires, You will fulfill mine and here they are:

IDEA #5 Put your money to work for you. By spending a little money each week, your money can help locate people who would love to get involved with a program like ours. We recommend that you begin spending money by reaching internet users in your area who are hungry for God. “THE WAY” has devised a marketing system that will be tailor made just for you that will drive people to your website while you are doing other things. Give your PPLG a call today and he/she will explain this program in more detail.

We will also be putting together national campaigns, which you can be a part of. If you have some money you’d like to put to work for you, see your life coach.

When it comes to making your money work for you, I believe Leviticus 19:23-25 has the best advice to follow. It states:

When you enter the land and plant any kind of fruit tree, regard it as forbidden. For three years you are to consider it forbidden, it must not be eaten. In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, an offering of praise to the Lord. But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.

This business is like planting a fruit tree. Instead of eating the profits when they begin to roll in, God is saying it will be better to reinvest them into this program for the first three years. The fourth year, you should give all the money you receive from this program to the LORD in a way you will not personally benefit from. Then, beginning the fifth year, you may enjoy the fruits of your labor and God will see that this program will reach its potential in being a lifelong blessing for you and your family.

IDEA #6 Call around to all the Christian bookstores in your area to see if there is a CHRISTIAN BUSINESS DIRECTORY in the area. Begin calling these business owners to tell them about your program. Let them know that all born again Christians are called to work for God, and that when they do so properly, they will make more money than they are currently making. By this point, you can probably make up your own script. If you want your PPLG to help you make one up or to make 3 way calls with you, simply ask them to.

IDEA #7 While you’ve got The Christian Bookstores on the phone, ask to speak with the owner about promoting our Bible School. See if the owner might want to be sponsored. If not, perhaps you could make up some brochures and place them on the counter. You might give the owner $25 for each student that contributes $10 per week.

IDEA #8 Call the people who publish the Christian Business Directories to see if they would be interested in being sponsored. These people would be great because they have many connections among Christian business owners and Pastors. If they don’t want to be sponsored, see if they will place an ad in their publication for you and get paid based on the number of students it generates.

IDEA #9 Call the sales managers of the local Christian radio station. They would be great to sponsor for the same reasons. If they don’t want to be sponsored, find out what the rock bottom rates are. Then find out if they would advertise our Bible School and get paid based on how many people sign up.

IDEA #10 There are many places to place free classified ads on the web. To find them, type phrases into your search engine like “free classified ads” or “advertise for free”. After placing your ad there, send an e-mail to the other advertisers on that website, telling them about your opportunity.

IDEA #11 Also type into your search engine words like “MLM opportunity”. People who advertise an MLM opportunity will appreciate your offer. Send them an e-mail explaining your opportunity. Tell them it doesn’t conflict with what they are currently doing, but rather, it compliments it. Tell them our Creator designed all of us to have two occupations: a secular and a spiritual one.

IDEA #12 Begin a mailing campaign to the homes in your area. Your PPLG will show you how to systematically hit every home in your area by mail for a very low cost.

IDEA # 13 Take out an ad in your local newspaper or penny-saver and place it in the classified section under BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. Make it short and simple like: GOD’S BUSINESS PAYS THE BEST. Then include your website address and your phone number if you want to. People who look at business opportunity ads expect to pay money for a business opportunity. Most opportunities cost far more than ours and have a far smaller income potential.

IDEA # 14 Run a similar classified ad under HELP WANTED or SALES POSITIONS. Many of the people who read this section, don’t read the business opportunity section because they don’t have a lot of money to invest. Many will be pleasantly surprised how affordable it is to get into such a lucrative business. Your ad might read: WORK FOR GOD-THE PAY IS AWESOME and then have your website address and phone #. Even if other of our Bible students in your area are running similar classified ads, you might still get a good return. When the readers see that a lot of people are in this business, it makes it appear more legitimate and desirable.

IDEA #15 Newspapers everywhere are cutting back on staff because of lost revenue. Most have very few original columns and very little good news to write about. You could approach your local newspaper, magazine or even penny saver type publication and offer to run our column for FREE. We will provide a fresh, original column each day or weekly for the readers of that publication. It will be one more reason for people to buy the newspaper as many of the readers will fall in love with this column. At the bottom of each column, we will tell the readers how they can sign up for our daily Bible Studies online. The newspaper will be set up as a partner at no charge and will be given a unique website address to direct their readers to. The newspaper will share in the revenue from their readers who become partners. The column is entitled, “Good News For Today”.
